The comparison will be between; the East European culture (and Russia) of the romantic period Vs. the Western English/American culture of...
A few months ago, as I was sitting in front of my piano, struggling to write a song for my new album I began to wonder; what is it about the songs I like the most that make them so enjoyable to listen. So I came up with a plan in order to be able to write songs that I personally liked.... I would analyse two of my favourite songs in music history (Bohemian Rhapsody and Tchaikosky's 1812 Overture) in order to find out what musical elements they share, that make them both so good (in my opinion)....

Well I think all of this hard work has finally paied off! I now know what common musical elements two of my favourite songs (and music piece) share.... Hopefully I will know be able to apply those elements in my future compositions !
