The comparison will be between; the East European culture (and Russia) of the romantic period Vs. the Western English/American culture of the XX century.

The 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky and Bohemian Rhapsody by queen are two magnificent pieces of their corresponding periods; the XIX century (Tchaikovsky 1812 overture) and the XX century (Bohemian Rhapsody). The 1812 Overture was written in 1980 by a Russian composer, while Bohemian Rhapsody was written around 150 years later in a completely different music era, by an English rock band; Queen. Despite the difference in terms of origins of these two songs, after analysing them, I was able to evidence strong similarities among them.
